TrimUI Brick
The easy way is the NextUI Pak Store: on the Brick, open Tools → Pak Store, find MeshClient under Miscellaneous Tools, and install it.
To install by hand, download the pak and unzip it into a folder you make first:
mkdir -p /Volumes/SDCARD/Tools/tg5040/MeshClient.pak
unzip MeshClient.pak.zip -d /Volumes/SDCARD/Tools/tg5040/MeshClient.pakThe zip holds the pak's contents, not the pak folder. Unzipping it without making that folder first gives you MeshClient.pak/MeshClient.pak/launch.sh, which the launcher will not run.
The desktop builds are experimental. The Brick is the main target; the desktop builds are newer and less tested. Please open an issue when you hit a rough edge.
macOS
Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 11 or later.
Open it and drag MeshClient to Applications. The app asks for Bluetooth the first time it looks for a radio. It updates itself from Settings → About once it is in Applications.
Windows
x64, Windows 10 or later.
MeshClient-windows-x86_64-setup.exe
It installs for your user only and needs no administrator. The installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may say “Windows protected your PC”: choose More info → Run anyway.
Linux command line
One static x86-64 binary with nothing to install: Bluetooth, serial and TCP, all headless.

sha256sum -c meshclient-linux-x86_64.sha256
chmod +x meshclient-linux-x86_64 && ./meshclient-linux-x86_64 --statusOn ARM (a Raspberry Pi, say), build it from source with make linux-cli. The meshclient-tg5040-aarch64 binary in a release is the handheld's and will not run there. See the command line in the guide for what it can do.
Older versions and checksums for every file are on the releases page.
